One-Bowl Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:
2 c. all purpose flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. baking cocoa
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. vegetable oil
1 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 c. hot water
Frosting of your choice
Colored sprinkles if desired
Method:

  • In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients. Stir in oil, buttermilk, and eggs. 
  • Add water and stir until combined. 
  • Pour into a greased 13x9x2-inch baking pan. 
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 35-38 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. 
  • Cool completely. 
  • Frost as desired.
