Snickers Cake |
1 box German chocolate cake mix
1/3 c. milk
1 c. pecans
1/2 c. margarine
1 package Kraft caramels
1 (6 oz.) package chocolate chips
Method:
- Grease and flour 13x9x2-inch baking dish.
- Prepare cake according to directions on package.
- Pour 1/2 of batter in pan and bake 20 minutes.
- Cook caramels, milk, and margarine in a saucepan over low heat until melted, then pour over cake.
- Sprinkle nuts and chips over caramel layer.
- Pour remaining cake batter on top.
- Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees, then reduce temperature to 250 degrees and bake 20 minutes.
- Top with Cool Whip or chocolate icing.
