Snickers Cake

Snickers Cake
Ingredients:
1 box German chocolate cake mix
1/3 c. milk
1 c. pecans
1/2 c. margarine
1 package Kraft caramels
1 (6 oz.) package chocolate chips
Method:

  • Grease and flour 13x9x2-inch baking dish. 
  • Prepare cake according to directions on package.
  •  Pour 1/2 of batter in pan and bake 20 minutes. 
  • Cook caramels, milk, and margarine in a saucepan over low heat until melted, then pour over cake. 
  • Sprinkle nuts and chips over caramel layer. 
  • Pour remaining cake batter on top.
  • Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees, then reduce temperature to 250 degrees and bake 20 minutes. 
  • Top with Cool Whip or chocolate icing.
