Homemade Antibacterial, Antiviral, Antifungal Garlic Ear Drops

Ingredients:

  • Chopped garlic cloves
  • Glass jar
  • Olive oil
  • Dropper
  • Lavender essential oil (optional)

Directions:

  • Place garlic cloves in glass bottle and pour olive oil over the chopped garlic. The oil should fully cover the garlic and even rise an inch or so over the garlic as well.
  • Place the jar on a window sill or the like for a few days. The warmth of the Sun will allow the oil to absorb more garlic and at a much faster rate. Don't allow it to absorb too much heat or direct Sunlight or it may ruin the properties of the mixture.
  • After a few days have passed, filter the oil through either a coffee filter or a few layers of cheesecloth and pour the filtered oil into your dropper bottle.
  • Optionally you can add a drop of lavender essential oil per ounce or two of oil. This will add more effectiveness and storage life to your ear drops.

If stored sealed and in a cool, dry place the oil should last a year or more. However, many will suggest that the ear drops be made and then immediately used within just a few days. That is a personal choice. However, it is up to you to decide how you will store your ear drops, for how long and you are responsible for checking them for freshness before use.
