Paanagam
Paanagam is a healthy drink usually prepared and distributed to the devotees during Ramnavmi. Learn how to make/prepare Panagam by following this easy recipe.
Ingredients:
300 gms Jaggery (shredded) 
5 Green Cardamom Pods (crushed) 
1/4 tsp Dry Ginger Powder 
Juice of 1 lemon 
600 ml Ice cold water 
Salt to taste
Method: 
  • Dissolve jaggery in water.
  • Add a a few cardomoms, mix. 
  • Optional: If prefered you may add a pinch of dry ginger powder or crushed ginger. 
  • Squeeze out a lime as preferred to taste. 
  • Serve cold.
